The timezone reality
India is 3.5–4.5 hours ahead of CET. This means a comfortable overlap window of roughly 10 AM – 4 PM CET / 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM IST. Most of our clients schedule collaborative work, standups, and meetings in this window, leaving mornings and evenings for focused work.
Communication norms
Indian professionals may default to formal communication with European managers — using "Sir/Ma'am" or hesitating to push back in meetings. Setting explicit norms early (first-name basis, encourage disagreement, async communication preferred) goes a long way.
In-person connection
Many clients bring their Indian team members to Europe once or twice a year for team building. We help with visa documentation and travel logistics. The in-person time significantly strengthens the remote working relationship.
