Indian salaries are expressed as CTC — Cost to Company — which includes base salary, allowances, employer contributions, and sometimes variable pay. It's not directly comparable to a European gross salary, but we'll help you translate.
Indicative ranges (annual CTC)
Junior Software Engineer
₹5–10 LPA
0–2 years experience. ~€5,500–11,000/year.
Mid-level Engineer
₹12–25 LPA
3–6 years. ~€13,000–27,500/year. The sweet spot for most EU companies.
Senior Engineer / Tech Lead
₹25–50 LPA
7–12 years. ~€27,500–55,000/year. Wide range depending on specialization.
Product / Design Roles
₹10–35 LPA
Varies widely. Senior product managers in Bangalore can command ₹40 LPA+.
Operations / Finance
₹4–15 LPA
Highly cost-effective. Strong talent available at lower price points than tech roles.
What's on top of CTC
CTC is not your total cost. As the employer through our EOR service, you'll also factor in the monthly EOR retainer (€225/employee), optional insurance (from ~€110/year), co-working space if needed (~€130/month), and equipment procurement. If we source the candidate through our recruitment service, there's a one-time fee of 10% of the candidate's annual CTC — only on successful hire.
