Cyphertree vs Deel: hiring in India
A fair comparison for a European team whose hiring is focused on India.

Deel is a strong, mature platform for hiring across many countries. Cyphertree is a specialist for one corridor: European companies hiring in India. If your hiring spans dozens of countries, a global platform may suit you better. If India is where your team is growing, this is an honest look at the difference.
| Dimension | Cyphertree | Deel |
|---|---|---|
| Focus | India specialist, Europe–India corridor | Global, many countries |
| Pricing | One flat, published: €250 per employee per month | By product and country |
| India payroll engine | Own, validated against a CA-approved model | Global provider network |
| Included | EOR, payroll, recruitment, accounting | EOR plus add-ons |
| Contract verification | Self-verifiable: eIDAS AdES + RFC-3161 timestamp | Standard e-signature |
| India DPDP | Built in, alongside GDPR | Part of a global program |
| SOC 2 / ISO 27001 | Not yet | Yes |
| Founder-direct support | Yes | No |
Where Deel is strong
Deel covers a large number of countries, is a mature product, and holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications. For a company hiring across many regions at once, or one whose procurement requires those certificates today, that breadth and assurance carry real weight.
Where Cyphertree is strong
For the Europe–India corridor specifically, Cyphertree goes deeper. Payroll runs on an engine built and validated against a chartered-accountant-approved model, not a third-party network. The price is one flat, published figure, with EOR, payroll, recruitment, and accounting included rather than priced as add-ons. Contracts are signed to eIDAS Advanced Electronic Signature and stamped with an independent timestamp, so a signed document can be verified on its own. And a demo puts you in front of the founder who built the product, not a sales relay.
An honest note on certifications
Deel holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001; Cyphertree does not yet. Where those certificates are a hard requirement, that difference matters. Cyphertree’s trust case rests instead on a Data Processing Agreement with EU Standard Contractual Clauses, database-level isolation, and contracts you can verify yourself.
